After an eight-year break, the WT Balkan Taekwondo Championship is back in Romania.
The Balkan Taekwondo Union together with the Romanian Taekwondo Federation WT have collaborated successfully this time to bring to Bucharest, between September 14 and 16, no less than 600 participants and more than 50 officials from all Balkan countries. Athletes from Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Bulgaria as well as other countries with results and tradition in taekwondo competed for the Balkan medals at the Kyorugi and Poomsae events, for the first time in both performance classes A and B.
The event took place within the National Sports Complex “Sala Polivalenta” located in Calea Piscului Nr. 10, Sector 4, Bucharest (Parcul Tineretului) starting with Friday, September 14 and could be seen via live stream on the YouTube channel of the Romanian Taekwondo Federation WT and through the official page www.taekwondowtf.ro.
